Since 1998 I have been working in the IT business always with a focus on software testing and quality assurance. Over the years I have worked in quite a set of different types of companies ranging from startups, SmartHaven, to multinational corporations like eBay.
In December 2010 I decided it was time for a somewhat radical change in my career path and after a 3 month sabbatical decided to head for a consultancy style job rather than working inhouse in a software manufacturing company.
April fools day 2011 I started working for Polteq Test Services, in Amersfoort. The very next day I started in my very first assignment as a test consultant, designing and implementing a test automation strategy for an online private brokerage bank.
Besides passionate about my work as a tester and test consultant, I am a passionate and dedicated father and husband.
